Meticulous detail and craftsmanship goes into every Timberworks Home. Timber frames and Dovetail Timber homes are precision cut from eastern white pine timbers. Our authentic timber frame joinery is fashioned using time proven mortise and tenon joints with hardwood connecting pins. Dovetailed log corners are constructed with compound dovetail notching. From a simple cottage to elegant, full blown hammer beam cathedral trusses, choose Timberworks for premium quality craftsmanship!
Every Timberworks structure is a custom design, created as a collaboration between our client and our extensive design build experience. We can start with a hand drawn sketch or a collection of ideas to create your dream home. Modifications to some of our existing plans to suit your needs is another option. Enter the name for this tabbed section: Signature Series Full-Scribed

We call these our signature series because each log shell is 'signed' by our Master Craftsman and Timberworks founder - Peter Faulkner.
Peter started building full-scribed log homes in 1978 and has constructed many full-scribed, dovetail and timber framed homes since then.
The construction process takes at least twice the amount of time and labour compared to dovetail or even timber framed homes. Therefore our clients should allow ample budget and time for planning and construction of a Signature Series Log Home.
